This fast Chinese Wonton Soup Recipe is very easy, loaded with vegetables, and stuffed with ground pork, minced fresh ginger, and finely chopped green onion.

For the wonton
3/4 lb of ground pork (if you like do half pork half shrimp)
1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch
2 finely chopped green onion
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of minced fresh ginger
1 teaspoon of sesame oil
1 teaspoon of sugar
25 wonton wrappers
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to paste refrigerator for at least 1 hour

For the soup
25 wontons
1 box (32 oz) chicken broth
1 small package of wonton soup
1 teaspoon of thinly sliced ginger
1 to 2 green onions for garnish
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon to tablespoon of soy sauce
2 small head of baby bok choy cut in to 4 parts

Chinese Wonton Soup Recipe Directions
Place 1 spoon of the filling in each wonton wrapper and brush the edges with beaten egg. And crimp the corners to close, or wrap like tortellini, like I did. Rep the remaining steps.
The secret to wonton soup is not to boil the wonton with the broth (the wonton shell would come apart) or the bok choy with the soup.
Steam 25 wontons, spray the steamer with cooking spray so it doesn’t stick for 20 minutes, and the pork should be done. Remove the wontons and set aside.
Combine chicken broth, wonton soup mix, ginger, sugar, and soy sauce in a soup pot. heat to a boil
Taste and adjust the saltiness to your liking before turning off the heat and adding the green onions.
When ready to serve, place a few steam wontons and baby bok choy in a soup bowl and pour in enough hot broth for 1 serving.
When ready to serve, add cooked Chinese sliced barbecue pork or cooked egg noodle to this soup.
